With every trip, the luggage got smaller. Aluminium boxes look great on a poster, but today we swear by soft bags. Narrower, lighter, better handling. So it's a pair of saddle bags and one luggage roll per bike. The two rolls carry the tent, 2 sleeping bags and 2 camping mats. One of us wears a hip pack, no tank bags.
The list below is everything, really everything, for 2 people on 2 motorcycles. And it doesn't matter whether it's two weeks in Tunisia or one year around the world. You just wash more often.
Riding gear
What we wear on the bike: off-road gear, from head to toe. Light enough for a desert, and with the rain jacket on top, good enough for a Swiss spring.
